Our client is a global industrial technology company specializing in automation, sensors, machine vision, industrial networking, and digital manufacturing solutions. Serving industries such as automotive, electronics, logistics, food & beverage, and industrial machinery, the company has a strong presence across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

As part of its digital transformation strategy, the organization is investing in cloud-native platforms, Industrial IoT, data analytics, and AI to drive intelligent manufacturing, predictive maintenance, and data-driven operations through scalable cloud and AI-powered solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an AI Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that support industrial automation, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation initiatives. The role combines Generative AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Engineering, and MLOps, with a strong focus on building scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise and industrial systems.

You will work closely with software engineers, cloud architects, data engineers, product teams, and domain experts to develop intelligent applications that leverage both traditional machine learning and modern Generative AI technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and deploy GenAI applications (chatbots, copilots, RAG systems) using Azure OpenAI and LLMs.

  • Build and maintain AI services and APIs on Microsoft Azure.

  • Design scalable data pipelines for training and inference workflows.

  • Implement and deploy ML models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and automation use cases.

  • Containerize and deploy AI solutions using Docker and cloud services (AKS, Azure Functions).

  • Build and manage vector databases and retrieval systems for enterprise/industrial data.

  • Ensure monitoring, versioning, and lifecycle management of AI models (MLOps).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into industrial and enterprise systems.

  • Stay updated with emerging AI/ML trends, cloud technologies, and DevSecOps advancements.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Artificial Intelligence (prefered).

  • Practical experience working with cloud platforms (Azure).

  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in Python.

  • Proficiency in Machine Learning frameworks such as Langchain, Langgraph and Llamaindex.

  • Development of Advanced RAG systems.

  • Development of MCP / A2A protocol.

  • Evaluation, observability and tracing of LLM apps.

  • Preferred experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and security tools, such as: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Kubeflow, Airflow, MLflow, Prometheus, Grafana, and NeuVector.

  • Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.

  • Understanding of AI model deployment and lifecycle management.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in multicultural, international teams and collaborate effectively in distributed environments.

  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate

  • Certified Kubernetes Developer, NVIDIA-Certified Associate

  • Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
