ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Application manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and improving the security and operational integrity of our client’s applications and systems. You will manage a variety of processes, including roles and authorization, application monitoring, and ITIL support, while driving process automation and documentation. The position requires flexibility, including occasional weekend work and on-call shifts, to ensure continuous, reliable service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and implement roles and authorization concepts, including ZAM (central access management) and other related processes.
- Support the Internal Control System (ICS) and Project Security Agreement (PSA) processes, including the creation of Security Concepts (SDSK).
- Oversee the Incident, Fulfillment, and Authorization (IFA) process, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Provide support for all ITIL processes, ensuring best practices in service delivery and process management.
- Participate in MI (Management Information) calls and provide timely updates on operational metrics.
- Ensure effective application monitoring, with the use of tools such as ELK, Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Manage certificate lifecycle, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with security standards.
- Develop, document, and automate processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline using tools like GitLab and ArgoCD.
- Take part in on-call rotations and occasional weekend shifts to provide operational support outside regular office hours.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of roles and authorization management, including ZAM.
- Experience with ICS, PSA, SDSK, and IFA processes.
- Proficiency in application monitoring tools (ELK, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, especially GitLab and ArgoCD.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and experience supporting them.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within complex processes.
- Experience in process automation and documentation.
- Advanced English and German skills for effective business communication.
