ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Native Developer to join the development of an AWS-based data product that enables the harmonized provisioning of alarm data from production assets. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications with a strong focus on backend development, data ingestion, and AWS infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps Engineers, UX/UI Designers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality cloud solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS, TypeScript, and Node.js.

  • Build and enhance backend services and business logic using AWS Lambda.

  • Implement and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform (HCL).

  • Develop and optimize AWS data platform solutions utilizing services such as DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, SNS/SQS, and EventBridge.

  • Support data ingestion pipelines and cloud-native data processing solutions.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated testing, code quality, and security best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Produce technical documentation and provide application maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support.

REQUIREMENTS

Must-have

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud application development.

  • Strong experience with AWS cloud-native development.

  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda.

  • Experience with Terraform (HCL) for infrastructure as code.

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including:

    • DynamoDB

    • Aurora PostgreSQL

    • S3 / S3 Tables

    • Glue

    • Athena

    • Lake Formation

    • SNS / SQS

    • EventBridge

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Knowledge of automated testing and code quality/security tools.

  • Experience working in Agile teams using Scrum and Jira.

  • Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with React and Vite.

  • Knowledge of OIDC-based authentication.

  • Experience with Lakehouse architectures.

  • Experience with On-Premises to Cloud data migration.

  • Background in the automotive, manufacturing, or production domain.
