ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / Developer to support our client in the automotive industry. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with the infrastructure and DevOps teams, leveraging modern tools and practices such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, and Azure security solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative automotive solutions, optimize cloud operations, and expand your skills in automation, monitoring, and containerized environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes and related tools.

• Monitor and analyze application and system performance leveraging Azure Application Insights.

• Implement and manage automated deployment pipelines using ArgoCD or similar GitOps tools.

• Design, configure, and maintain cloud networking components including VNETs, subnets, routing, and load balancers.

• Enforce Azure security policies, configure Microsoft Defender, and manage access controls to ensure compliance.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent, automated cloud resource provisioning.

• Perform Linux system administration tasks, including configuration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and scripting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure (deployment, monitoring, scaling).

• Solid understanding of cloud-native services.

• Experience with (or general understanding of):

  • Kubernetes and container management

  • Azure Application Insights and system analysis

  • ArgoCD or similar deployment tools

  • Cloud networking concepts

  • Azure Security (Microsoft Defender, policy administration)

  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform

  • Linux system administration

• Proficiency in Python (beneficial but not mandatory).

• Ability to work effectively in agile teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
