ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Cloud Developer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for AI and data workloads. This role focuses on developing automation, integration, and optimization solutions across AWS services. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, ensure observability and security, and work closely with data and ML teams to deliver high-performing, cost-efficient cloud systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and operate cloud infrastructure for AI workloads using EKS, Lambda, and IAM.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting solutions for cloud-based systems.

  • Optimize cloud costs, performance, and resource allocation.

  • Build and manage data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.

  • Manage data schemas, partitions, and cost-control strategies for large-scale datasets.

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CDK.

  • Implement GitOps workflows and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.

  • Ensure security, observability, and compliance across all deployed resources.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong experience with AWS services including EKS, ECS, Lambda, IAM, S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, and Bedrock.

  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

  • Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance principles.

  • Experience with cost optimization, automation, and scaling in AWS environments.

  • Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with ML engineers, data engineers, and platform teams.

  • Focus on delivering reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.
