ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and executing cloud strategies tailored to each project's and client's needs. You'll work across different cloud platforms and environments, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
This position requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, automation, and DevOps best practices. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain reliable cloud environments aligned with technical and business goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with architects and developers to define and execute cloud strategies for various projects.
Evaluate and implement cloud deployment models (public, private, hybrid, multi-cloud).
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Develop scripts and automation solutions using Python, Golang, or Bash.
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud-based systems and services.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards across all environments.
Support migration of applications to the cloud and modernize legacy systems.
Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Proven experience with major cloud service providers: AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
Experience in networking, storage, and cloud administration.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Solid grasp of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with at least one scripting language: Python, Golang, or Bash.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Certifications (a plus, not mandatory)
Cloud Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer
Azure Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer Expert
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
Kubernetes:
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Specialized Certifications:
AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
Nice to Have
Experience working with hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and tools.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO, SOC2, or HIPAA.
