ABOUT THE ROLE

You will build the SAP consulting team in Lithuania, design and implement enterprise-grade SAP S/4HANA transformation solutions mainly for the manufacturing and Automotive industry: 

• You are responsible for SAP Forms — including SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAPScript — while also contribute to broader ABAP development activities within S/4HANA projects. 

• You design, implement, and maintain SAP output forms for business-critical processes (SD billing, purchasing, production, logistics, and finance). 

• You develop and optimize print programs, interfaces, and enhancements related to forms within the WRICEF framework. 

• You support form migration from ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring compliance with “clean core” and SAP standard extensibility principles. 

• You collaborate closely with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable form solutions. 

• You ensure technical documentation, perform unit testing, and support integration and user acceptance testing phases. 

• You participate in code reviews and apply SAP standard tools (ATC, Code Inspector) for quality and performance checks. 

• You stay current with SAP’s evolving form technologies (Adobe Interactive Forms, Output Management, BTP Document Management). 

You will be seamlessly embedded in the SAP DACH organization with 4 competence centers and their experienced and collaborative consultants. You will report to the team Lead for SAP Lithuania, which belongs functionally to the portfolio “SAP Transformation” and work in close alignment with the SAP consulting organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working collaboratively with a project and client DEV teams. 

• Develop and maintain forms (Adobe, SmartForms, SAPScript) and related print programs. 

• Implement WRICEF objects (with emphasis on Forms and Enhancements). 

• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation projects and legacy form conversions. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver form outputs meeting business and regulatory requirements. 

• Participate in performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization for form-related developments. 

• Contribute to the standardization of form templates across projects and clients. 

• Provide end-user and key-user support during testing and go-live. 

• Working on issue resolution and decision-making in critical project phases. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed degree in business informatics, IT engineering, computer science or similar. 

• Fluent English skills, German skills are beneficial. 

• Familiar with the SAP product portfolio and have successfully applied SAP Best Practice solutions and the Activate Methodology. 

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in S/4HANA and ECC environments. 

• 2+ S/4HANA transformation cycles & go-lives, incl. brownfield & greenfield. 

• Knowledge of SAP development - ABAP on HANA, ABAP OO, ideally Test-Driven Development and confident in using the ABAP development tools (Eclipse, SAP GUI, WebIDE, SAP Business Application Studio). 

• Proven expertise in SAP Forms (Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPScript) and print program development. 

• Good understanding of related WRICEF components (Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces, Conversions). 

• Experience with Output Management (BRF+, Adobe Print Service). 

• Exposure to Fiori/UI5 or OData development. 

• Experience with Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for SAP-specific development projects, ensuring efficient delivery of ABAP enhancements and customizations in an iterative, collaborative environment is an advantage. 

• High customer orientation, service attitude and business acumen. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively collaborating with functional teams, gathering business requirements, and documenting technical specifications and solutions in a clear and concise manner. 

• High attention to detail in writing, debugging, and maintaining ABAP code, ensuring consistency to standard methodologies, clean core principles, and compliance with SAP development standards. 

• Ability to adapt to evolving SAP technologies and project requirements, staying up to date with the latest advancements like RAP, CAP, and SAP Fiori while meeting dynamic business needs in a fast-paced environment. 

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve issues in complex SAP systems, identify root causes, and provide effective technical solutions that align with business processes. 

• Collaborative approach, working closely with multi-functional teams, SAP consultants, and customers to ensure the successful delivery of custom ABAP solutions that meet organizational goals.
