ABOUT THE ROLE

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing and automating our globally recognized automotive client's infrastructure. You will leverage tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, and ELK to enhance system monitoring and performance. Your expertise in cloud computing (Azure, AWS, and future Google Cloud), Kubernetes, and Helm will support the management of scalable, containerized environments. Additionally, your programming skills (TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash, Java, Go, Python) and knowledge in data analytics and machine learning will drive continuous improvement and innovation across digital platforms.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Dynatrace and Grafana to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Utilize OpenTelemetry for observability and data collection across applications and infrastructure.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS, with future integration of Google Cloud.
  • Manage container orchestration and deployment processes using Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Develop and maintain log management solutions with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for efficient data analysis.
  • Write and optimize scripts and applications in TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash, Java, Go, and Python to automate deployment and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics and machine learning capabilities into the DevOps processes.
  • Ensure security and compliance of systems and applications through best practices and regular audits.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the development and production environments to enhance system reliability and performance.


    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role within the automotive industry or related fields.
    • Strong expertise in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Grafana.
    • Proficient in using OpenTelemetry for observability and performance tracking.
    • Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure and AWS; familiarity with Google Cloud is a plus.
    • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm.
    • Proficient in the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log management and analysis.
    • Solid programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash, Java, Go, and Python.
    • Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning concepts and tools.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
