ABOUT THE ROLE

To strengthen our People Services team, we are looking for an experienced HR Controller to join us as soon as possible. In this role, you will act as the financial backbone of our HR organization, ensuring transparency and accuracy across all financially relevant HR topics. You will work closely with colleagues in other People areas as well as global business partners. Your work will cover a broad range of tasks, from annual budget planning and HR cost controlling to reporting, KPI analysis, and system-related organizational management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and deliver regular standard reports for various stakeholders using HR reporting tools.

  • Define, calculate, and monitor HR-related KPIs (e.g., headcount, new hires, attrition).

  • Create ad-hoc analyses and queries for management, departments, committees, and works councils.

  • Continuously enhance reporting processes and drive automation within your area of responsibility.

  • Monitor and calculate absences, flextime balances, and vacation provisions.

  • Manage budget calculations for salary increases, severance, early retirement, and partial retirement, including pension simulations.

  • Set up and maintain cost centers and positions, implement cost center changes, and create migration balances.

  • Support annual budget planning and contribute to financial forecasting for HR-related costs.

  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new HR system extensions and changes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable field.

  • Several years of professional experience in HR controlling.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, or a comparable HR information system; experience with SAP BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a structured and independent working style.

  • Excellent collaboration and team spirit combined with resilience and composure under pressure.

  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.

  • Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
