ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a German-speaking Power BI Specialist to join our analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards according to client requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into meaningful visual insights that support business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on client specifications.

• Use Microsoft Power Query (Dataflows) to clean, transform, and model data from multiple sources.

• Design and implement data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.

• Create interactive visualizations, filters, and KPIs that deliver actionable insights.

• Collaborate with business users to understand their analytical needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.

• Utilize Power Automate to streamline workflows and automate reporting processes where applicable.

• Ensure reports and dashboards are properly published and integrated into the Power BI Service environment.

• Support data governance, documentation, and report optimization efforts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluency in German (spoken and written) and good communication skills in English.

• Proven experience in developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

• Strong knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and Dataflows.

• Familiarity with Power Automate and experience automating business processes.

• Solid understanding of data modeling, relationships, and performance optimization.

• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience working with clients or end-users to capture reporting requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
