ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Engineer with a strong focus on UX/UI design to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, iterate on design systems, and contribute to the creation of seamless user experiences. Your expertise in design tools like FIGMA, knowledge of development processes, and ability to manage user stories will drive innovative solutions for our end customer, BMW.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and enhance UX/UI interfaces with a focus on functionality and user experience.

  • Utilize FIGMA and design systems, ideally Density (BMW Design System), to create and maintain design components.

  • Manage and refine user stories in Confluence and Jira, ensuring accurate documentation and status updates.

  • Participate in iteration meetings and collaborate directly with BMW to align on project goals.

  • Conduct user validations to ensure the feasibility and relevance of design solutions.

  • Communicate with the end customer to gather requirements and provide updates on progress.

  • Maintain clear and consistent documentation of all design-related tasks and processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.

  • Proficiency in FIGMA and familiarity with modern design systems.

  • Experience with Confluence and Jira for managing user stories and task documentation.

  • Basic understanding of development processes to facilitate collaboration with developers.

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and customers.

  • Ability to conduct user validations and incorporate feedback into design improvements.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Density (BMW Design System) or similar design frameworks.

  • Previous collaboration with automotive or enterprise clients.
