ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Mid - Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a large-scale vehicle visualization platform designed to deliver high-quality vehicle imagery to multiple downstream systems within a global automotive organization. The solution operates in a distributed environment and supports numerous consuming services, requiring high availability, scalability, and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, Load Balancing, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda)

• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform

• Build, deploy, and maintain backend services using Java (Quarkus) and Python

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components

• Ensure system scalability, performance, and high availability across distributed systems

• Monitor applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with strict SLAs

• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures

• Participate in on-call rotation and provide operational support

• Automate deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines

• Contribute to continuous improvement of system architecture and DevOps practices

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Load Balancing)

• Solid experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

• Proficiency in backend development using Java (preferably Quarkus) and/or Python

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management

• Ability to work under SLA-driven environments

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations

• Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, Vue.js, or LitElements

• Familiarity with modern web architectures and component-based frameworks

• Experience working in large-scale, enterprise-level environments
