Operating at large scale, the organization develops and maintains complex, high-performance systems that support a wide range of internal and customer-facing platforms.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Mid–Senior Engineer to work on applications that span three main areas of our technology stack:

• Cloud (AWS): Running and managing applications using services such as EC2, Load Balancing, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda

• Backend (Java/Quarkus): Building APIs, business logic, and microservices

• Frontend (Angular): Developing user interfaces and integrating with backend services

You are not required to be an expert in all three areas (though it is a significant advantage if you are), but you must have solid experience in at least two of them. Typical profiles we are looking for include:

• Engineers working with AWS and Java/Quarkus (cloud + backend)

• Engineers working with Java/Quarkus and Angular (backend + frontend)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Quarkus;

• Build and enhance frontend applications using Angular (with LitElements and Vue.js as complementary technologies);

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features;

• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of the system;

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and technical standards;

• Support deployment and infrastructure processes, leveraging AWS and Terraform where applicable;

• Contribute to operational support under strict SLAs, including monitoring and incident handling;

• Participate in on-call rotations (occasionally if required) after onboarding and qualification.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong expertise in Java, with hands-on experience using the Quarkus framework;

• Experience with AWS services, including: EC2, Load Balancing, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda or/and proven experience with Angular (familiarity with LitElements and/or Vue.js is considered a plus);

• Full-stack development capability is preferred, with the ability to contribute across backend, frontend, and cloud environments;

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is advantageous;

• Additional experience with Python is a plus;

• Experience designing and working with scalable, distributed systems;

• Solid understanding of modern software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality standards;

• Willingness to support operational activities, including participation in on-call rotations;

• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and contribute to technical decision-making;

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills;

• Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
