ABOUT THE ROLE

You will build the SAP consulting team in Lithuania, design and implement SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management (WM) and Logistics Execution (LE) solutions for major industrial clients:  

• You analyze, design, and optimize warehouse and logistics execution processes across inbound, outbound, internal movements, and transportation interfaces in complex interface and transformation projects. You guide customers through modernization and transformation initiatives using S/4HANA WM/LE and SAP Best Practice methodologies for major customers in the automotive and manufacturing industry. 

• You are responsible for the planning, implementation and documentation of customer requirements and support our customers in finding solutions using best practice methods. 

• You develop functional concepts and development specifications, coordinate test activities and support the expansion of our best practice industry solutions and are responsible for conducting customer workshops and training courses. 

• You will support our customers in greenfield, brownfield or hybrid migrations of their SAP ECC-based systems or landscapes to SAP S/4HANA. 

• You will develop best-practice solutions, templates and integrate processes, systems and rollout projects. 

• You will also continuously expand your expertise into SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and work closely with our EWM specialists to support customers in advanced warehouse and logistics automation scenarios. 

• In addition, you will lead and develop team members in their professional expertise. 

You will be seamlessly embedded in the SAP DACH organization with 4 competence centers and their experienced and collaborative consultants. You will report to the team Lead for SAP Lithuania, which belongs functionally to the portfolio “SAP Transformation” and work in close alignment with the SAP consulting organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be actively involved in preparation, blueprinting, realization, testing, UAT readiness, cutover, and Go-Live of S/4HANA WM/LE implementation and system conversion projects. 

• Apply and tailor SAP Best Practices for warehouse operations and logistics execution processes. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain stakeholders. 

• Utilize and apply best practices on projects based on experience and in consultation with experts appropriately tailored for the client and their culture. 

• Estimate workstream effort and plan deliverables accordingly. 

• Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with clients. 

• Lead workshops on inbound/outbound handling, picking/packing, HU management, replenishment, batch/serial processes, physical inventory, and transportation integration. 

• Support integration with MM, SD, PP, EWM, and transportation processes. 

• Plan and personalize the customer journey while maintaining global scalability and consistency. 

• Ensure in time and quality delivery, revenue consumption and profitability management. 

• Provide creative, pragmatic solutions to process and integration challenges. 

• Desire to learn continuously and to grow personal skills and professional expertise. 

• Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and changes. 

• Close cooperation with the SAP Consulting Teams of the region, developing new ideas as well as their distribution, independent search for new opportunities.  

• Engage in continuous development toward EWM topics through project exposure and formal learning paths. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, industrial engineering, IT, or related field. 

• Fluent English skills, German skills are beneficial. 

• You are familiar with the SAP product portfolio and have successfully applied SAP Best Practice solutions and the Activate Methodology. 

• 7+ years of SAP WM and LE experience (ECC or S/4HANA), including configuration and process design and support services for various customers.  

• Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes. 

• Strong knowledge of warehouse structures, put-away/removal strategies, HU/batch management, physical inventory, and logistics execution processes. 

• Experience with S/4HANA Stock Room Management and simplified logistics. 

• Integration knowledge with MM, SD, PP; foundational understanding of EWM beneficial. 

• Experience or knowledge in the integration with the other modules. 

• Experience in writing WRICEF functional specifications and collaborating with technical teams. 

• Experience with hybrid architectures (on-premise vs. cloud) is an advantage. 

• Ideally experienced in working in virtual teams and international environment.  

• Experience as team lead managing consultants into S/4Hana implementation projects. 

• High customer orientation, service attitude and business acumen. 

• Proven communication, facilitation, collaboration and interpersonal skills. 

• Strong writing, mentoring, decision making and meeting facilitation skills. 

• Ability to coach junior consultants and lead smaller workstreams.  

• We expect travel readiness and communication skills with different stakeholders. 

• Self-motivating and be able to plan your own work. 

• Strong willingness to learn and grow into SAP EWM as part of your professional development.
